Step 5 of booking
Session Agreement & Waiver
Once ParPar Portraits has confirmed availability for your date, this agreement is reviewed and signed before your booking is confirmed.
The agreement
1. Session safety & parent/guardian responsibility
A parent or guardian remains present and responsible for the safety and supervision of all children throughout the session.
2. Newborn & baby safety
Newborn posing and prop work is carried out with safety first, and any pose may be adjusted or skipped at the photographer's discretion.
3. Illness & rescheduling
If anyone attending is unwell, the session should be rescheduled to protect babies, families and the studio.
4. Session timing & lateness
Sessions begin at the scheduled time; late arrival may shorten the time available.
5. Deposit & payment terms
A 50% deposit is due at booking and reserves your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
6. Cancellation & rescheduling
One reschedule is permitted in accordance with these terms. Cancellation notice periods and deposit treatment are set out below.
7. Image selection & editing
Final images are selected and edited by ParPar Portraits in its signature style. Edited images only are delivered; raw or unedited files are not provided.
8. Turnaround time
Final edited images are delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of your session.
9. Copyright
Copyright in all photographs remains with ParPar Portraits.
10. Personal use rights
Clients receive rights to use their delivered images for personal, non commercial purposes.
11. Social media usage
Delivered images may be shared personally on social media with credit to ParPar Portraits and without alteration or added filters.
12. Photo/model release permission (optional)
Separate and entirely optional. Bookings are never conditional on granting release permission.
13. Liability limitations
ParPar Portraits will take reasonable care during every session. The client acknowledges that photography sessions involve normal movement, posing, props and studio or in home environments. ParPar Portraits is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision and safety of their children throughout the session.
14. Client acknowledgement
The client confirms they have read, understood and accepted this agreement.
